Night

The Holocaust was one of humanity's darkest moments. Once Wiesel was liberated by U.S. forces from the Buchenwald Nazi concentration and extermination camp, he failed to speak or write about his experiences for a decade. He went on to jot down simply over a hundred pages of fragmented narration, reciting his time in concentration camps and Buchenwald together with his father. The darkness contained within this book is unimaginable. The night transforms the Holocaust from a historical event into a spiritual experience.
